  My son purchased a car 8 months ago, had a few issues early on, then started getting engine management light and losing power, contacted the garage last week and described the issues and told them that I was unable to drive it and would be grateful if they could take it in to diagnose and repair the issue. Was told quite bluntly that they were not a breakdown company and if I wanted them to assist then I would have to get the car transported there myself, ( yet I then had an email reminder about my mot and asked did I want it picked up???) paid to get the car transported to the garage and was promptly told that I would be charged for the half hour diagnostics. Got a phone call the next day to say the turbo had blown and quoted me a ridiculous amount for repair, when I questioned them as to how the car and it’s turbo failed so early after my purchase and that obviously there must have been issues when the car was purchased They replied “ no warranty company will touch fiesta St’s because obviously being driven too fast by youngsters”!! My wife who is a 50 yr old district nurse drives the car? The car has never been fit for purpose since day 1 and they are now passing all blame and financial outlay to myself, disgusting after sales service and customer care, I will be making my thoughts known to Ford Uk and all other bodies that need to know what terrible service I and my family have had with this dealer.
